Carers Week took place from 14th - 20th of June 2010 and all Family Carers who were involved in our Carers Week events had a great time..

Carers Week 8th - 14th June 2009

The theme for this year Carers Week was “Celebrating Carers – Because we’re worth it”

10 National Voluntary Organisations signed up as Official Partners for carers week with many groups around the country holding events for Family Carers during the week.



Care Alliance Ireland lead the national co-ordination of the week and hosted the national launch in The Mansion House on Monday June 8th. The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Cllr. Eibhlin Byrne, together with Una Crawford O'Brien, (Actress, Fair City) launched Carers Week.
