Kilkenny Resource Centre
Kilkenny Resource Centre - New Beauty Therapy Service Available
The Carers Association are now offering Beauty Therapy treatments by Robyn, who is a qualified Beauty and Body Therapist. Robyn has completed her training with Kilkenny College of Beauty Therapy and has very kindly offered her services free to Carers and previous Carers until February 2010.
The treatments take place in the Kilkenny resource centre on Johns Quay, in a private and relaxing room. There are many treatments to avail of such as a Pedicure, Manicure, Massage, Facial, Waxing, or Make up.
Simply phone the Kilkenny Resource Centre on 056-7721424 to make an appointment and if you prefer you can decide what treatment you want after a discussion with Robyn.

The Kildare Carer’s Association hosted a variety of events during Carer’s week at which Family Carers attended.
Portlaoise Resource Centre
Carers Week was a great success at the Portlaoise Resource Centre with many highlights including a day trip to Johnnie Foxes pub, an Open Day for Family Carers which included Hand Massage, Angel Healing and Beauty Treatments and Demonstrations. Read More Here.
National Dog Walk Portlaoise
The National Dog Walk took place in Portlaoise on Easter Monday and was a great success....a selection of photos from the day.
Tullamore Resource Centre
Carers Week Activities in our Tullamore Centre
Thursday 17th June:
Day trip to the National Stud, which includes:
Tea/Scones at 10.00am in Tullamore Centre before we head off by bus.
Guided tour at 12.00 following by a hearty lunch before we head back to Tullamore
Friday 18th June:
Outdoor broadcast by Midlands 103 radio:
Takes place from Tullamore Centre from 9.00 am - 12.00 noon and will include interviews of local carers. We are hoping as many carers as possible call in and say hello on the radio and enjoy a cup of tea with us. We may also have other treats for the carers on the day.
Sunday 20th June
BBQ in Cuisle in Donamon Roscommon. Meet at Carers Headquarters in Tullamore at 12.45pm: Bus leaving at 1.00pm. BBQ starts at 2.00pm with plenty of tasty food and sing-a-long live music .Return bus leaving approx. 5pm.
