Wexford Resource Centre
The Wexford Centre in Henrietta Street – there for the past 10 years has been lucky to secure some extra space which we hope to move into in the next couple of weeks. The new space, which is much needed for Training, Support Groups and other activities for Carers is very welcome and we are all really looking forward to settling in to our badly needed extra space.
We are currently gathering in prizes for our annual Christmas Raffle to take place on the 7th December in the Centre and hopefully it will be as successful as last year.
We have just started FETAC Level 5 – Practical Care Skills in New Ross and Wexford on Mondays – this course will run until December 2010 and is open to Carers and funded by Dormant Accounts.
We run monthly support groups in Wexford and New Ross and if anyone is interested in attending, please just ring the Centre for dates.
