The Case for Corporate Philanthropy

Corporate philanthropy is a transformative influence in advancing our service to the community.  By engaging with the corporate community to develop philanthropic relationships, we can transcend the limits of what core funding allows.

Each year The Carers Association reaches a fraction of the people who need our help.  Corporate support gives The Carers Association the momentum to address the real, documented demand for our services by family Carers all around Ireland. Significant contributions may be made over a pledge period of four years.

Challenge Champions

Each of our 16 resource centres located around the country reaches its fundraising goal of €12,000 with dedicated volunteers holding events in the local community throughout the year.  By offering a Challenge Matching Grant, to match the €12,000 raised for your local centre, we make sure your company gets wide local recognition and public profile.  Click here to locate The Carers Association Resource Centre in your community.    

The National Donor Wall

We are pleased to recognise the following gift levels on the Donor Wall in the reception area of our new National Office in Tullamore.

€1,000 - €5,000 - Hearts of Gold    
Gifts upwards of €1,000 provide for the ongoing services provided by The Carers Association on a daily basis, such as our National Care Line and Carers Information Packs distributed to people in need of information.

€5,001 - €10,000 - Hearts of Platinum 
Gifts of €10,000 and more enable us to enrole family carers in the professional training they need to be competent in caring properly for their loved one at home.

€10,001 - €50,000 - Hearts of Diamond
Gifts upwards of €50,000 endorse our work to ensure that all Carers are given regular restorative breaks from their caring situation by providing in-home respite to look after the person they love.

Visionary Gifts
Visionary gifts of more than €50,000 advance our national plan for the sustained expansion of the services and supports offered by our resource centres around the country.
